The top layer is made from soft, breathable, gel-infused memory foam. It provides pressure relief and contouring. You will sleep cool and refreshed all night because the gel counters heat retention.
Climate Comfort Foam 5 Cm
The secondClimateComfort foam layers are firmer and better suited to your body’s alignment. This unique foam layer won’t change in shape or form with changes in temperature. It will keep your spine aligned and prevent you from settling down.
Core Support Foam 15 Cm
This is the foundation of the mattress. This layer is made of high-density polyfoam, which evenly distributes your bodyweight and prevents you from sagging.
Mattress Cover
Puffy does not disclose the materials used in their covers, but they feel soft and, according to customers, don’t heat up at night.It maintains good airflow and wicks away excess moisture.
You can easily remove the cover and wash the mattress with the zip-off zipper.To avoid damaging the fabric, be careful not to heat too much.
Smell/Offgassing
Unboxing the Puffy mattress will produce a faint odor.This is because the foam comes fresh from the factory.
The mattress bag is tightly sealed so that the smell doesn’t escape.
This off-gassing should be completely eliminated in a few days.
If you are uncomfortable with the smell, keep the mattress exposed in a cool place for at least a few days.
The Sleeping Experience
Puffy isn’t a luxury mattress and doesn’t feel luxurious. It is still comfortable and provides adequate support for your spine.
The top layer of soft memory foam works in conjunction with the core layer for a medium-firm feel.It supports your weight and contours your joints and curves.
For heavier or more slender sleepers, I can’t recommend this mattress. It is too thin (25cm) to offer enough support.
The extra pressure will cause it to sink too deeply and feel uncomfortable.
I would choose thicker mattresses like the Big Fig or the Avocado Green.
This mattress doesn’t have much bounce. It is about the same price as other memory foam products.
Firmness
The Puffy mattress is firmer than Leesa, another popular foam mattress.This mattress has a more on-the-mat feel, with less sinkage and body hug.
The Puffy mattress feels slightly firmer than Nectar, a foam mattress that comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Although Puffy is medium-firm, it falls on the firmer end of the mattress scale.It would be rated at 6.5-7 on a scale of increasing firmness.
Puffy original is ideal for stomach and back sleepers who require a firmer sleeping surface.
The Puffy LUX is their softest offering, with a firmness of 5.5/10.
Sinkage
Sinkage is minimal, but enough to contour around hips and other high pressure zones.The mattress is a little too firm for a foam product.
You will feel more like you are floating than you do in a mattress.
It is why I recommend it more to stomach and back sleepers than side-sleepers.
Motion Transfer
Memory foam, especially memory foam, is great at isolating sleep partners from one another’s motion. This mattress is no exception.It is a wonderful tool for keeping interruptions to a minimum.

Hot/Cold Issues
Puffy uses the same method as other mattresses to avoid heat retention in the memory foam layer. They infuse cooling gel into their foam.
